• Kintype:
The type of kin that you are.
• Fictionkin:
A kintype where you are spiritually connected to a fictional character.
• Songkin:
A kintype where you are spiritually connected to a song.
• Otherkin:
A kintype where you are spiritually connected to something that is non-human.
• Flickerkin:
Only feeling connected to a kin at certain times.
• Factkin:
An invalid kintype where you are spiritually connected to a currently living person.
• Kin-shift:
Whichever kin you feel most connected to at whatever moment.
• Permashift:
A kin you always feel super connected to.
• Kin:
Another term for the kin terms listed above.
• Selfhood/ID:
These kins are your ENTIRE identity.
• Media:
The game/show/movie/etc. your kin comes from.
• Mediamates:
Someone who shares the same media.
• Canonmates:
Someone who shares the same canon.
• Doubles:
Someone who kins the same character.
• Syn/Synpath:
You relate to the character. This is often mixed up with kin.
